Alva OS home-study curriculum
At Alva OS, we believe in developing your skills. Hence, even if you do not have the basic knowledge of programming, you can still apply for the programme.
With our home-study curriculum designed to introduce you to the basics of programming, we trust that you will be prepared for the assessment tests.
The home-study curriculum will be sent to the mails of every applicant after completing the online form.
Financing
The cost of the training is 3million Naira only. You can fund the training in any of the following ways;
Alva OS funding
We will fund your training fully if you sign a bond to work with us for a minimum of 4 years after training.
FGN Funding
The FGN pays for your funding through the CBN intervention funding scheme(Software Engineering students loan).Under this arrangement, you will get a brand new laptop(available to you during the period of the training), N30,000 monthly stipend, as well as free accommodation for the duration of the training.
Self-sponsorship
You pay for the training yourself (Self sponsorship).
Requirements to apply?
● Any graduate with a degree from any higher institution in Africa.
● Possession of NYSC discharge certificate or Letter of exemption from NYSC.
● Passion for software engineering.
● Good coping skills and willingness to be trained.
● A valid guarantor.
● Intention to work hard and succeed as a software engineer.
